You are under no obligation to use the Service, and your use of the Service is completely voluntary. By acknowledging this Code of Conduct during the KnowMeNow registration process, you are acknowledging that your participation in the Service is of your own accord.
In order to be authorized to use the Service, you must agree to this Code of Conduct by checking the box marked ("I agree to and accept the KnowMeNow Code of Conduct and the KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions of Use"] during your KnowMeNow registration. You should review the terms of this Code of Conduct, which are available above the acceptance box at registration and also at
KnowMeNow Code of Conduct. In addition, you should review the KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions of Use, which are available above the acceptance box during registration and also at
KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions of Use. You acknowledge and agree that by checking the "I agree" box at registration, you are entering into legally binding contracts with IHI. If you do not agree to this Code of Conduct, and to the KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions of Use, you may not use the Service.
IHI reserves the right to revise this Code of Conduct at any time by posting such revisions on the Service. In the event of a material change, IHI will notify you by posting an announcement on the home page for the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such revisions have been posted constitutes your acknowledgement of, and agreement to be bound by, any such revisions when they become effective.
Your use of the Service is subject to additional rules, terms, and conditions as provided by IHI from time to time in its
KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions of Use. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the additional rules, terms, and conditions established by IHI.
- Prohibited Conduct. By accessing the Service, or any of the content made available on or used to provide the Service, including any chat room, online discussion forum, user profile, user page, group page, or other similar channel provided on the Service, you agree to abide by the following standards of conduct. You agree that you will not, and will not authorize or facilitate any attempt by another person to, use the Service, or any of the content made available on or used to provide the Service, to:
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, invasive of another’s privacy, vulgar, offensive, obscene, pornographic, lewd, lascivious, excessively violent, or otherwise objectionable, as determined by us.
- Use a name or language that IHI, in its sole discretion, deems offensive.
- Post defamatory statements or information that you know or have reason to know is false or misleading.
- Post content that IHI, in its sole discretion, deems to be disrespectful to an individual or a group of individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, physical or mental disability, HIV status, veteran status, age, or any other category protected by law.
- Post content which infringes another’s copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret, or post content which enables or encourages others to engage in such infringement.
- Post unsolicited advertising or unlawfully promote products or services.
- Harass, threaten, intentionally embarrass, or cause distress to another person or entity.
- Impersonate another person.
- Promote, solicit, or participate in any multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes.
- Exploit children under 18 years of age.
- Engage in disruptive activity such as sending multiple messages in an effort to monopolize the forum.
- Introduce viruses, worms, Trojan horses, bots, and/or harmful code to the Service.
- Obtain unauthorized access to any computer system through the Service.
- Invade the privacy of any person, including but not limited to posting personally identifying or otherwise private information about a person without their consent (or their parent’s consent in the case of a child under 13 years of age).
- Solicit personal information from children under 13 years of age.
- Violate or encourage another user to violate any KnowMeNow rule or any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- Encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal or civil offense.
- Use email addresses, names, contact information, or other personal information about other users of the Web Site for a purpose other than that for which the information was posted.
- Send unsolicited e-mails, instant messages, or other communications to users of the Web Site for commercial, promotional, religious, political, or other purposes unless expressly authorized by us.
- Submit content or data that IHI, in its sole discretion, deems potentially embarrassing or harmful to IHI or other KnowMeNow users.
- Attempt to submit content or data to the Service anonymously.
- Disseminate confidential or non-public information to any person not authorized to have access to such information.
- Access, or attempt to access, data not intended for your use or log into a server or account connected to the Service that you are not authorized to access.
- Access to the Service. The Service is provided to you for your own personal and business use. You may not share your logon information with anyone or allow others to use your access to the Service. You must take reasonable precautions to ensure that others do not gain access to your account or logon information. You may only access the Service after you have agreed to this Code of Conduct and the KnowMeNow Terms and Conditions. You may not base employment decisions on information provided through the Service to the extent that such information has no bearing on an employee’s ability to perform his or her job.
- Complaint Procedure. If you become aware of any violation of this Code of Conduct, please advise and send an email to info@IdentityHoldings.com as soon as possible. There will be no retaliation against anyone who makes a complaint or report of misconduct in good faith.
- Consequences for Violation. Violation of any of the above Code of Conduct may result in termination of your ability to use the Service and forfeiture of any and all fees you may have paid for use of the Service.
