I grew up in a family of 5 children -- 4 girls and me!  My sister closest in age, Harriet died at age 32.  And both my parents died in their 60's.   So it has come to pass that the 4 of us have become close. We have adopted a name: "The S Team"  And what is sobering and beautiful has been how we are there for each other.  And even after these many years (my oldest sister is now 72) and our own separate lives (A total of 9 children and 17 grandchildren) that we look to each other in times of need. Our mother used to say "blood is thicker than water" -- by which she meant that blood relations were what you could "count on."
