We accept documents showing Full name (mathing the identiy document), issue date and address clearly visible.The date on the statement must be within 3 months of the Level 3 submission for verification. Document must clearly show the Company logo that issued it. Joint accounts are acceptable.
Accepted documents for ‘Proof of Address'(Level 3)
- Utility bills – telephone bill (landline), electricity, water and gas bills
- Bank documents such as:
- Letter from a recognized public authority
- Proof of registration
- Receipt for Tax paid
- Credit Card statement only from bank (not insurance company, not American Express)
- Home insurance statement
1st Class ID containing address as long as the customer provides a different type of ID to proof identification (Level 2) and to proof of address (Level 3). E.g. Passport for Level 2 and National Identity Card containing address for Level 3.
Not acceptable:
- Advertising letter
- Mobile phone bills
- Business statement
- PO Box
- Personal, Health, car or travel insurance

Identity Documents:
KnowMeNow accepts all government issued Identity cards, Passports and Driving Licenses. The image must be clear without reflection showing all 4 corners of the document. Captures from a photocopy are not accepted. The document must still have a valid date not past its expiry date.
Accepted identity documents:
- Passport
- International passport
- Temporary passport
- Domestic passport
- Only 1 page with all the required details
- National ID card
- Both sides. If the back does not contain any details (e.g., Romanian ID card), only front side can be accepted.
- Drivers licence (provisional also acceptable)
- Both sides.
Not acceptable:
- Residence permit
- Student ID
- Voter’s card
- Age verification card
- Employee ID
- Visa
If any expired documents are uploaded, we will not be
able to verify your identity. You will be asked to upload valid documentation.
You can update your information at any time. However, once updated you will need to consent to re-verification to make sure your latest information is verified.
We accept all
passports and identity documents issued within our supported countries listed
within our Terms and Conditions. If your document is not supported for the time
being, watch this space as it may be in the future.
